The goal of this project is to raise awareness about the 1 billion people that are chronically hungry. This petition is different from any other before it in that each person that signs becomes personally responsible, and is rewarded for, raising awareness of those in their social network. After signing up, a participant receives a personal link that they can share. In addition, our site allows one to visualize their impact as their efforts spread from city to city throughout the world. The site also shows individuals their social impact measure: how their social impact ranks in comparison to everyone in the world and within their country.
